Cadillac,UGGs Boots, the luxury subsidiary of General Motors, has embarked upon a new endeavor of sorts, as the auto company known for its stretch coupes or more recently its daunting SUVs is now trying its hand with sneakers, and its employing the help of Bun B, a hip-hop recording artist who is also recognized for his penchant for flashy footwear. Bun B’s been spotted with Space Jam-esque kicks recently, like the Air Jordan XI Retro to a pair of Space Jam Bespokes, but this new pair is indeed a set of Cadillacs in a piano black patent leather and mesh-type material underlay. As part of the buildup to the World Basketball Festival, Nike designers got up with a group of talented youngsters for a Make Something!! workshop.  During these crazy sessions at Nike Stadium in the Bowery, these kids were charged with creating a hybrid design that combines elements from the three biggest Nike,CHI Flat Irons, Inc. brands: Nike,MBT Shoes, Jordan Brand and Converse.  What they ended up with most strongly favors the Nike Air Max Hyperdunk, but the strap has been moved lower and updated with a Jumpman logo, while the heel has been modified with some Converse flavor.  Click the jump below to see a video detailing the process and stick with Sneaker News for more on how Nike Basketball shoes come to fruition.

School’s about to begin in a couple of weeks so for those with varsity/JV hopes (or even playing for your college squad), here’s a look at the Nike Air Max Hyped in Team Bank colorways; three shades of blue (obsidian, royal,nike shoes, and university) as well as two tones of red (varsity and team) just released. The Air Max Hyped features a Phylon midsole with a visible Air unit, with a Nike Hyperdunk-like cut, a metallic silver trim on the outsole and heel counter, a white ankle collar,Starcraft 2 CD Key, and a carbon-fiber mudguard. Sneaker News previewed the upcoming releases of the Jean-Michel Basquiat x Reebok capsule, and available now is the Reebok Pump Omni Lite of that package. Coming in a black and white colorway with a complete graffiti’ed upper bordering on vandalism,skateboarding shoes, Basquiat features his artwork on the upper as well as adding his own touches to the Reebok branding. Among the notable guests at the Nike SB P-Rod IV Launch Party was DJ Clark Kent, who kept it in the Nike SB theme,supra shoes, but not without keeping it close to his heart. Check out DJCK’s Nike SB Dunk Force 1 in the ‘Newcastle’ colorway; Clark Kent has been spotted a number of times before wearing these heatseekers, namely one inspired by the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low and another after the Tiffanys. Old meets new as the Nike Lunar Mariah combines its ‘rocket science’ derived Lunar cushioning unit with the Nike Air Mariah upper. This new colorway features a simple mix of Black and Photo Blue with a rip-stop nylon upper (as if the Lunar Mariah wasn’t light enough) for breathability. Arriving tomorrow at U.S. retailers is the third installment of the individually-numbered and highly limited Jordan Brand Bin 23 Collection, the Air Jordan XIII (13) Premio. The color-scheme chosen for the Premio XIII is actually an older concept,supra shoes, dating back to the inception of the Air Jordan XIII; this combination of colors served as the inspiration to other Air Jordan XIII colorways, like the Wheat Retro of 2005 as well as the original Black/Chutney low. The colorway of Team Red and Desert Clay has been taken out of the vault and used fittingly for the Bin 23 Collection,skateboarding shoes, and tomorrow the opportunity arrives for stateside Jordan loyalists. Anyone older than 2 or younger than 72 rocking a pair of kicks with five velcro straps is crazy enough,CHI Flat Irons, but this new Nike Blazer AC High takes it two steps further.  Not only is the Seaweed/Volt colorway an eye-catching high contrast palette,skateboarding shoes, but the addition of tiny perforations all along the side panels will make you take a second look.  It’s hard to think of another mostly black shoe that’s looked ‘brighter’ than these, and if you like the style, they’re available now from select Nike Sportswear retailers including Atlanta GA’s Wish.

There is currently a tasty rumor swirling around, proclaiming that, in addition to the eagerly-anticipated Air Jordan Retros that we already know of, there will be another high-profile Jordan 2-pack hitting retail in 2011. While it hasn’t yet been officially confirmed,Louis Vuitton Shoes, it looks like we may see a pack next summer containing both the Grape and Laney colorways of the Air Jordan V. The reported package will likely be a Summer 2011 release,nike shoes, but at this point, nothing is set in stone. Stay tuned for word on an official confirmation and let us know where this would rate among past double-box Jordan Retro releases.
